Anyone visiting our church will quickly see that although the church itself is over 100 years old, our constant desire is to adapt to the needs of the modern world.

The facilities at Monton Methodist Church are placed well within the community Monton which are used by various groups.

The building is wheelchair friendly and has a disabled toilet with handrails and emergency call bell. The Church and New Room is fitted with a loop system for those who are hard of hearing to provide added clarity for all. There is a baby changing unit and we have child sized chairs for our younger visitors.

Our large and modern kitchen is well equipped and hot water is available for heating babies’ bottles.
Other facilities which make our Church welcoming for all include a bookstall where books and cards can be purchased.

Our premises are well cared for. In 2018, the Church area was completely refurbished including replacement of five windows with new stonework and walls replastered and decorated to create a clean and pleasant area in which to worship. In 2021 we started some refurbishment to the Church Hall but there is more to do yet!
